Day after the storm...
Mom and I stayed at Lacey's and I went to work as usual, not knowing if the power was back on. So many streets were blocked, but I finally made it only to see a group hanging out at the shop with no power. Dad told me to go home. So Pascha and I went home and I had a nice morning with my Bible, but no power means no coffee :( Around lunch I went to Mom and Dad's for lunch (Mom and Lace went to Walmart for some things and then picked up lunch at McAllister's, which they said was packed because it was the only place for food and anyone without a generator on they're refrigerators had no good food left) and helped Dad clean up his yard from the debris...found this piece of insulation. I keep hearing stories of cancelled checks, mail boxes full of mail and stuff being found up here from places that are 2-3 hours away...there will be stories of people found, but people are just starting to look...
