First, it's Saturday Serve at Calvary Chapel, which this time is working with the Clean & Green initiative here in Chattanooga where we will be splitting into groups and cleaning up a block on Chatty! I ended up being in a group with a couple of my Wednesday night Deeper girls from Covenant, Faith and Sam and Sam's BF Woody! We cleaned up 4th street and Riverfront Parkway...the 1st picture is my garbage bag with the dead cardinal I cleaned up (I was the only one that would pick it up...thanks Toulouse for preparing me for that one), then that's me and Brandi (she had her own group) at the lunch that Market Street Tavern provided after the event!
Then, after all the cleanin', Ani and I headed out to Urban Rocks to FINALLY use our LivingSocial rock climbing deals we bought back in September or so. It was so fun! We learned how to tie the knots, belay each other and we got our certification to come back anytime! We've still got one voucher to use, so stay tuned for one at least one more day of climbing! Oh yeah, and climbing hurts your forearms BAD after a while...you're pretty much holding your entire body on the wall with just your forearms, which I had totally forgotten...haha! Also, that's me 'pretending' to climb on the bouldering section cause we're not allowed to have phones and take pics while climbing or belaying...so I had to fake it. My arms were hurtin' pretty bad by that point.
