 Pascha did something to her eye...looks like she got in a fight...poor baby :(

Well, after last nights dinner I had so much left over I took it over and reheated it for Dad and Logan's dinner since mom wasn't home that night. They almost polished it off...just enough for mom's lunch tomorrow :)

Get the refrigerated pork into the crock pot...

...and set it and forget it!

Put on the beans and rice.

Get all my latin spices out!

Start the tostones (plantains)!

these are about to be DELICIOUS!

Red beans done...lots of love...and spice inside!

 My 1st try at a full Puerto Rican meal! Everything tasted so delicious! Even though it took a lot of planning, money and time, I can't wait to make it all again!

Rainy day puddles in the puppy yard...Locksey got 'rat legs', hahaha!

Then I went home to get something and Celia the dog across the street was out of her fence, so Pascha played with her for a bit and there were TWO huge vultures in the middle of the road eating a rabbit or squirrel or something! They were huge. I couldn't get a better pic before they flew off though :(

Tonight, I prepared my Puerto Rican pork recipe that I'm slow cooking for tomorrow night! Amy (not Amarilys) would have just DIED if she'd handled THIS hunk of meat! I hope it turns out good!!!

Lovely day at church, then Greenlife for lunch, hanging out at home with Pascha, then a wonderful Bible study night with my girls, drinking homemade chai, eating weird, but delicious Indian snacks and cookies that Brandi brought and, thanks to the alarm, ending at a decent time of night instead of gabbing till 11pm!

watched "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past"...

then picked up the office!

Long, boring, rainy day...got lots done though, so I guess that's good!

 Today I got to watch salesmen install handicap ramp trucated dome pavers (the bumpy things on handicap ramps). We've been installing these for years, but now that we've watched them, apparently we're 'certified'. Lucky we brought Nick (guy in black), cause these guys had no idea how to finish concrete!

Then that night, I went to dinner with Brittany and Amy and we had tiny Irish Red Beers! Just kidding...we got big ones after that :)

THEN, I went to hang out with Casey and the boyz (kinda sounds like a band name...)

I have the power to shut down a road :) nobody gets to drive down 2nd street unless I say so!

Man, those manholes are way deeper than I thought. That's like a 20' ladder that they just 'mary poppins bag' -ed into that hole!

So, we were contracted to repair the sidewalk on Cowart Street where the idiot hit the water line and shut down Main Street because of flooding (anyone remember that??? haha!). The water guy said that for the day or two that water was running out of it, it was running at a rate of 30,000 gallons a MINUTE!!!
