First...and obviously most important...it's Lacey's 26th birthday! Bring on the bonanza!!!
My day started out meeting at Calvary to do more tornado relief. Today we were assigned to a residence in Apison that had extensive tree damage, but luckily nothing fell on their house! Other homes around them were flattened...
The goat's name is Herbert, but everyone calls him Herbie. He thinks he's a dog, so if you pet him he'll follow you around...and that blue thing is a harness, so a leash I guess. They said he's too sweet and the other goats pick on him :) The eggs were perfectly preserved under a HUGE pile of brush and trees. The trees had made a little 'tent' for them somehow. Pic #5 is 'Goat Hollow'...that WHOLE area was completely covered with trees and brush to where you couldn't even hardly walk down there...yeah, we cleaned that sh*t up ;) That 2nd to the last pic is their trampoline woven between the trees, and that last pic is the scratch I got on my head after mis-judging the length of a branch on a limb I was carrying...oops!
Then that night was Lacey's 26th Birthday Bonanza!
We had bbq, games and then went to see The Breakfast Club, and even after slipping the bassist a note with a $10, he still wouldn't let Lacey come dance with him on stage...booooo! Brittany thought hiding the note/10 in her dress first would 'help' things...it did not. He did however, wish Lacey a happy bday, so I guess we takes what we gets!
